THOMAS KELLER’S BOUCHON CELEBRATES ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
AND SWEEPS LAS VEGAS LIFE EPICUREAN AWARDS

February 2005

Las Vegas, NV - Bouchon, Thomas Keller’s acclaimed French bistro located in The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, celebrates its first anniversary, following a year of outstanding reviews and accolades from numerous publications including USA Today and The Las Vegas Review Journal. Keller and Jeffrey Cerciello, executive Chef and co-author of the new Bouchon Cookbook, will be signing their cookbook on Sunday, February 13th at Williams-Sonoma from 2 to 4pm and again on Tuesday, February 15th from 1 to 3pm, in St. Mark’s Square, Grand Canal Shoppes, Venetian Hotel-Resort-Casino.   Bouchon will also host a private reception celebrating their anniversary the evening of Tuesday, February 15th.

Bouchon recently swept the Las Vegas Life 6th Annual Epicurean Awards, 2005. Based on their reader’s poll, Bouchon is the first restaurant to win in four categories including “Best French,” Best New Restaurant on the Strip,” Best Restaurant On The Strip” and Best Restaurant.”

Bouchon is modeled after the original bistro located in Yountville, California. Mark Hopper, Chef de Cuisine, oversees the kitchen and offers traditional French country fare with an emphasis on using the best fresh and seasonal ingredients. The raw bar serves a wide array of oysters-on-the-half-shell from both the west and east coasts. Bouchon has also been recognized for its innovative carafe program featuring wines made exclusively for the restaurant by top wineries from the Napa Valley.

Acclaimed restaurant designer Adam Tihany, who designed the original Bouchon and Bouchon Bakery in Yountville as well as Per Se in New York City; has created a warm and elegant atmosphere including a handcrafted pewter bar, deep blue velvet banquettes, boldly patterned mosaic floor tiles and antique light fixtures.  The outdoor patio overlooking the lush gardens and fountains has become one of the most popular destinations in town.

Bouchon is located in The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, Venezia Tower in Las Vegas.  The phone number for reservations is (702)414-6200. Bouchon serves breakfast from 7:00am to 10:30am and dinner from 5:00pm to 11:00pm, seven nights a week.  The oyster bar and cocktail lounge is open from 3:00pm to 11:00 PM daily. Lunch is served Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30am to 2:30pm.  Private dining space is available.
